SEO Analyst

About the role

Terakeet controls online reputation and visibility for global brands, proactively building, protecting, and repairing brand narratives and perception to drive trust across organic and AI-powered search using patented technology and decades of expertise. This position is part of our client delivery teams. The (Sr.) SEO Analyst evaluates client properties to ensure alignment with SEO/GEO best practices, develops recommendations, and evaluates client partnership performance over time. This is a remote-first role hiring within 60 miles of Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; and Syracuse, NY to facilitate in-person connectivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Performs website audits and develops related recommendations to ensure SEO/GEO best practice compliance.
• Provides analyses as they relate to search intent, asset ranking potential, backlink profiles, advanced search features, and SERP anomalies.
• Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
• Prepares findings from analysis and effectively communicates strategic insights to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data.
• Monitors performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, proprietary tools, and others as needed.
• Develops reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, Slides, and proprietary reporting tools.
• Executes ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring a comprehensive view of the issue and potential solutions by providing an appropriate level of detail and creative thinking.
• Collaborates closely with the content department to share data and insights that affect reporting through internal and external deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred - Concentration in Marketing or a related field.
• Professional work experience in a related role is preferred.
• Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms and data to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action against business goals.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
• Comfortable functioning in spaces with high ambiguity and adapting easily to changing environments.
• Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in project completion.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $63,000 to $95,000. This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate.
