About the role

This individual will be responsible for working within a team to do all the phases of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model for a new training system supporting the United States Air Force. The individual will need to collaborate with multiple subject matter experts (SMEs) to create a training system for multiple Air Force Specialty Codes, collaborating with multiple teams throughout a dynamic program to identify current and future training knowledge and skill gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct gap analyses of knowledge and skill levels and translate the findings into targeted training tasks and effective learning solutions.
  • Design and develop training products for multiple modalities, including online, in-person, hybrid, as well as synchronous and asynchronous formats.
  • Develop a comprehensive suite of training materials—including instructor-led sessions, microlearning modules, interactive online courses, and on-the-job qualification/certification programs—under direct supervision.
  • Write technical and creative documentation, including the creation of training CDRLs.
  • Stay current with training-and-development research—learning theory, emerging software tools, and industry standards—and apply insights to design decisions.
  • Design curricula that conform to current SCORM standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Human Performance, Training and Learning Development, Psychology, Marketing, or related field and 2 years of experience with bachelor's degree, 0 years of experience with master's degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company's business needs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience applying analysis processes, adult learning theories and instructional strategies, technical expertise creating SCORM compliant courseware and implementing Kirkpatrick’s 4 levels of evaluation to include, formative, summative, and operational evaluation processes.

Skills

  • Knowledge of human performance processes to breakdown knowledge and skill gaps to identify appropriate learning solutions.
  • Experience with digital instructional design software (e.g., Camtasia, Storyline, Adobe Captivate/Creative Suite).
  • Multi-media design experience (audio/video editing, 2D/3D design, animation, software simulation, etc.).
  • Experience using multiple instructional development software tools.
  • Experience in conducting training evaluations in accordance with Kirkpatrick 4 levels of evaluation and Phillips 5 levels of evaluation.

Pay

The primary level salary range for this position is $72,100.00 - $108,100.00.

Schedule

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
