Sentinel - Sr. Principal Supplier Management Team (SMT) Systems Engineer

About the role

The Sr. Principal Supplier Management Team (SMT) Systems Engineer will oversee Lockheed Martin's Delta Flight Test Vehicle (DFTV) subcontract. Key responsibilities include participating in technical tag-ups, supporting testing and approval of test reports and procedures, and aligning with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasking with minimum oversight
• Understand and apply system requirements
• Mentor lower level Engineers
• Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
• Create technical reports and present technical information
• Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
• Support all phases of the systems life cycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
• Review customer deliverables, testing, and requirements verification
• Bring technical information to boards including PERB, AERB and TRB (as applicable) for all variances, technical direction to supplier, etc.
• Support pre-ship reviews and coordination with ILS group
• Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
• Interface with AF customer and Subcontractor

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, 6 years with a master’s degree
• Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) preferred
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) for certain restricted positions
• 5 years minimum experience in Requirements Verification and tools such as DOORS
• 3 years experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and tools such as Cameo
• 3 years experience in review/approval of test plans/procedures and test reports

Qualifications

Pay

$122,800.00 - $184,200.00
