About the role
This position is located in Roy, Utah, and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis for human engineering compliance documents to include Mil-Std-1472 and other applicable industry standards
- Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts
- Be proficient in the development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents
- Ensure appropriate coordination between SEIT Human Systems Integration and other design and integration teams
- Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Engineering Scheduling tools or applications
- Experience with Compliance requirements and Mil-Std-1472
- Experience with 3 years of Systems Engineering experience
- Experience with 2 years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool
- Experience with 1 year of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation
Qualifications

- Principal Systems Engineer (T-03 Level): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (e.g., human factors or psychology) from an accredited university is preferred, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a STEM-related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 1 year of relevant work experience
- Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (T-04 Level): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (e.g., human factors or psychology) from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience
