Pay

Pay rates for non-credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience qualifications.

Schedule

Courses are offered primarily in-person along with some Zoom classes.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • Academic degree or professional certification in a related discipline preferred.
  • Must be a subject matter expert.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with a diverse population.

Skills

  • Subject matter expertise in areas such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Chair Pilates, Zumba Gold, Line Dancing, Lively Drumming, or Water Aerobics.
  • Ability to teach college-level non-credit courses to students 60+.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
