About The Role

Carinity Education – Gladstone is seeking a passionate, experienced, and proactive Senior Youth Worker – Learning Support (SYWLS) to join our committed and student-focused team. In this rewarding leadership role, you will champion best practice youth work, providing guidance, support, and supervision to our Youth Worker team while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Requirements

• Diploma of Youth Work or a related discipline
• Experience supporting vulnerable, disengaged, or marginalized young people to achieve positive outcomes
• Strong understanding of co-regulation practices and trauma-informed approaches to behaviour support
• Demonstrated experience leading, supervising, and mentoring Youth Workers in a complex or challenging environment
• Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and detailed case notes, records, and reports to support effective case management and positive student outcomes
• Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current Bus Licence (LR) or willingness to obtain
