This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
We are looking for a builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential, with the business savvy, Contact Center background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers. The Amazon Connect Specialist Team is made up of deep CX and Enterprise Contact Center domain experts who work directly with our customers to solve their most complex challenges. We stay closely connected to our customers and bring valuable data and insights to our product teams, strengthening the product roadmap. Our team is at its best when a customer is thinking big and needs specialized experience to innovate for their business.
Responsibilities
- Represent the voice of the customer and our partners; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
- Lead curation of custom feature and availability requests for unique customer use cases.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our partners that are delivering for our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Along with your extended team, own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
- Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
- Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.
- Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
- Design and deliver practice build and continual improvement to our partners' business, ensuring partners are delivering architectures and implementations that meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military.
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 4+ years of contact center, or 2+ years of contact center experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
