Job Description
Act as Workday generalist and assist with tier I to III level tickets supporting Workday users and team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Demonstrate Workday system knowledge used in troubleshooting, assisting with configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and testing of the system.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and able to build positive relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to increase confidence and communication with the Workday Support Team.
- Willingness and dedication to learn new areas of Workday to broaden knowledge and provide cross functional support within the Workday Support Team.
- Assists with/or participates in the research, design, development, testing, delivery and training of new and modified business processes, reports, and tools.
- Reviews and completes Workday helpdesk tickets as assigned.
- Works with Workday Support Team to help keep track of requirements, timelines, and communications with project stakeholders.
- Serves as Sr. Analyst to provide support on Tier I to Tier III tickets for Workday modules.
- Specialized experience/knowledge in the following areas is desired: Security, People Experience, Workday Everywhere, Business Processes and Report Writer. Experience/knowledge in other Workday functional areas is a plus.
- Affords maintenance of the Workday platform continuously within experience level.
- Communicates with Stakeholders and Team Members by participating in meetings both recurring and ad hoc on related Workday items.
- Serves as project assistant on Workday configuration and enhancements to help meet project timelines from beginning to end.
- Assists the Workday Support Team by offering insight on solutions that both meets customer needs and considers audience, performance, and usability.
- Stays updated with Workday releases and roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve functional processes.
Minimum Skills And Experience
- Excellent English verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with HRIS systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Workday.
- Elevated level of HRIS competency.
- Highly effective in time and project management.
- Advanced understanding of Workday Business processes.
- Advanced knowledge and experience supporting Workday Core HCM (Human Capital Management) functions.
- Uses resources effectively and efficiently; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Advanced problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills.
- Strong critical thinking.
