About the role
Full-time permanent position focused on the hire-to-retire lifecycle within Workday, driving product launches, elevating employee experience, and optimizing Workday interactions.
Responsibilities
- Own the hire-to-retire lifecycle in Workday, managing the entire process from hiring to retirement.
- Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive Workday product launches.
- Continuously improve the employee experience and optimize interactions with Workday.
- Represent the Workday platform across the HR application landscape.
- Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs.
- Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday functionality.
- Design and develop integrations using Workday tools (Enterprise Interface Builder, Core Connectors, Workday Studio).
- Perform data transformation using XSLT 3.0 to convert XML data between Workday and external systems.
- Create and manage document transformations between Workday’s internal structure and formats like flat files, JSON, CSV, or delimited files.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and system stability.
- Work on complex Workday Studio designs and suggest performance improvements.
- Configure security groups and policies for integrations.
- Participate in bi-annual Workday releases and updates, including annual maintenance checklists.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience implementing or managing solutions in Workday, including program-level solutioning and effort estimation.
- 4+ years’ experience configuring Workday HCM with demonstrated technical expertise, including end-to-end integration and post-production support (e.g., complex Studio builds).
- 2+ years’ experience supporting other Workday products (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning), particularly Workday Studio.
- Deep HR domain expertise with the ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
- Ability to thrive in complex and technically ambiguous environments.
