Senior Workday Analyst, Payroll

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Workday Analyst, Payroll to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own the technical health and operational effectiveness of payroll systems while helping translate business needs into scalable solutions. You will partner closely with Payroll stakeholders to improve processes, support global expansion, and ensure the HRIS environment is configured to support accurate and secure payroll execution. The position also plays a key role in evaluating new platform capabilities, driving automation, and supporting strategic projects across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Own the technical health of payroll environments while balancing ongoing operations and project work Partner with Payroll to translate business needs into scalable system solutions Lead implementations for onboarding new payroll countries, including configuration and testing Stay current on new payroll platform features and assess pilot opportunities Identify and redesign manual payroll processes using automation Drive strategic roadmapping for product-led projects within the system footprint Provide operations support to resolve open HRIS and payroll tickets Qualifications 5+ years in HRIS or People Systems, including 3+ years in payroll system configuration Proven experience managing highly confidential information Strong interpersonal skills for setting expectations with stakeholders Ability to lead cross-functional projects under pressure Deep understanding of payroll processing and security Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Benefits Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunities for learning and professional development Involvement in strategic projects impacting the organization's growth Ability to influence and drive best practices across the organization Exposure to advanced HRIS tools and features Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
