Senior Workday Analyst

Location: McLean, VA | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Employment Type: Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Workday Analyst with strong hands-on Workday HCM experience to manage daily Workday operations, maintain data accuracy, and resolve complex HR system issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with mass data updates, EIBs, business processes, data audits, and cross-functional collaboration in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Workday transactions, including hires, terminations, reorganizations, and mass updates
• Maintain Workday data accuracy, integrity, and completeness
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday data and transaction issues
• Conduct data audits for job profiles, cost centers, and supervisory organizations
• Identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage and prioritize tickets and requests in a high-volume environment
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams to resolve issues
• Support UAT, regression testing, system implementations, and process improvements
• Ensure Workday processes and reporting meet business requirements

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of hands-on Workday experience
• Strong Workday HCM experience (mandatory)
• Experience supporting large organizations, ideally with 10,000+ employees
• Strong knowledge of Workday business processes and organizational structures
• Experience with EIBs, mass data loads, and data management
• Experience working with ticketing systems and handling high-priority requests
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred qualifications

• Workday HCM operations and production support experience
• Experience with data audits, mass transactions, and data remediation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of issues through resolution
