Description About Us Entertainment Retail Enterprises (ERE) is a leading apparel design, product development, and manufacturing company specializing in private-label and licensed brands. For more than 20 years, we've partnered with some of the most recognized retailers and brands to bring innovative, high-quality products to market. We're looking for an experienced Senior Women's Apparel Designer & Product Developer to help launch and grow an exciting new women's lifestyle brand. This role is ideal for someone with a strong design aesthetic and a passion for creating elevated, feminine, versatile apparel that blends modern feminine styling, elevated casualwear, and premium lifestyle sensibility with everyday comfort and wearability. We are seeking a designer who understands effortless dressing, refined silhouettes, and the balance between trend-right design and timeless appeal. The ideal candidate has a strong point of view on artisan-inspired details, natural fabrics, soft textures, and thoughtfully constructed garments that feel both aspirational and accessible. This is a senior-level position for an experienced apparel professional who can confidently manage product categories, partner with overseas development teams, and deliver commercially successful products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and department leadership. Requirements What You'll Do Design and develop seasonal women's apparel collections across multiple product categories.Research fashion trends, consumer insights, competitive brands, fabrics, trims, colors, prints, silhouettes, and market opportunities.Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, print direction, and product storytelling.Design commercially relevant woven and knit apparel with a focus on elevated casualwear, modern feminine dressing, and premium lifestyle collections.Create original silhouettes with strong attention to fit, proportion, fabrication, and styling details.Collaborate with the Art Department on print direction, graphics, embroidery, washes, trims, and branding elements.Create and maintain detailed tech packs, CADs, specifications, BOMs, artwork, and construction details.Own assigned product categories from concept through development, working closely with our technical designer and technical team to ensure accurate fit, construction, and execution through production.Own the design direction and aesthetic execution of product reviews, while partnering with the technical team to evaluate t, construction, and manufacturability. Technical review and approval of fit, construction, and production readiness will be led by the technical team.Partner closely with overseas factories throughout product development to ensure quality, costing, and delivery expectations are achieved.Review and approve lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics, trims, care labels, packaging, and evaluate design details on pre-production samples.Collaborate with sourcing partners and overseas development teams to balance strong design intent with manufacturing capabilities and target costing.Identify new trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and product opportunities that support long-term brand growth, with an emphasis on artisan-inspired detailing, natural fabrics, and elevated everyday essentials.Manage multiple product categories and development calendars while maintaining accuracy and meeting critical deadlines.Successfully prioritize multiple projects, adapt to changing business needs, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Contribute to a collaborative, creative culture. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Product Development, or a related field preferred. 8+ years of women's apparel design and product development experience. Strong background designing contemporary women's lifestyle apparel. Experience developing both woven and knit collections. Strong understanding of garment construction, t, fabrics, trims, embellishments, and wash techniques. Highly refined design aesthetic with an eye for color, proportion, styling, and commercial product. Experience creating complete seasonal collections from concept through production. Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; PLM experience preferred; WFX experience is a plus. Experience working directly with overseas factories and product development teams. Strong understanding of apparel costing, target margins, and commercial product development. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
