Senior Windows Systems Engineer

About the role

This role supports a multi-year project to add multiple domains. It requires extensive experience in an enterprise multi-domain environment, particularly in Active Directory. Strong PowerShell scripting skills and the ability to write custom scripts are essential. Documentation and effective communication are also critical due to the high regulatory nature of the environment. Root cause analysis skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation and management of multiple Active Directory domains.
• Develops and maintains PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and manage Active Directory.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards through thorough documentation.
• Conducts root cause analysis to resolve issues within the Active Directory environment.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing enterprise multi-domain environments.
• Extensive experience with Active Directory administration.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT, with a focus on Active Directory and PowerShell.
• Experience with high-regulated environments and strong documentation practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to IT environments.

Pay and Benefits

Schedule

This role requires being onsite 3 days a week.

Location

This role can be based out of Baltimore, MD, or one of the following locations: Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Kennett Square.
