Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Windows Server 2019/2022 systems in a dynamic customer environment.
  • Plan, execute, and implement new hardware and software across enterprise infrastructure.
  • Create, update, and enforce team technical instructions, operating procedures, and policies.
  • Monitor and tune system performance; perform system hardening; report on security and operational posture.
  • Lead software/hardware integrations and recommend enhancements to the environment.
  • Generate utilization reports using existing tools and identify issues requiring corrective action.
  • Oversee lifecycle support of vendor equipment, including firmware version control and preventive maintenance in data center environments.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies to expand and optimize system capabilities.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of complex applications and web services (e.g., IIS, Apache).
  • Administer enterprise-level Active Directory structures and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Experience Five (5) years as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer, including 3 years of task automation using PowerShell.
  • Five (5) years of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications/websites (e.g., IIS, Apache).
  • Five (5) years working in complex network environments with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP.
  • Five (5) years managing enterprise-level Active Directory environments.
  • Five (5) years developing and managing complex MS Group Policy configurations.
  • Five (5) years creating and maintaining SOPs and disaster recovery plans for common problem resolution.
  • Three (3) years supporting Cybersecurity patching and compliance, including STIGs, SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
  • Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
