About the role
The Senior Product Manager, US Wealth oversees the end-to-end management of assigned products, services and programs including features, benefits and characteristics that meet customer needs and are priced to meet the firm's profit and loss objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and execution for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to the ongoing development and support of the Transactional Investment platform and solutions.
- Understands the transactional brokerage platforms and all transactional brokerage products in the competitive landscape to position TD in the most competitive way within TD's risk appetite.
- Subject matter expertise in full-service brokerage offering with depth in Structured Products, fixed income, equity, and options markets, including trading pricing.
- Manages 3rd Party platform vendors and partners to ensure risk and quality management of platforms and offering.
- Manages daily product management and product development responsibilities to make assigned products and programs robust and easier for Advisors to utilize.
- Develops and executes financial analysis and revenue management strategies.
- Communicates with vendors to coordinate platform change management and solution enhancement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Supports and resolves day-to-day questions and issues for the sales team.
- Trains marketing teams on new system/solution rollouts.
- Creates and delivers business cases to achieve strategic business results.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or product management certificate, and/or 7+ years relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, competitive intelligence.
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of product initiatives.
- Ability to forecast and contribute to strategic direction of the product management function and provide advice to senior leadership.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
- Sound judgment in making decisions.
- Proficiency in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
- Knowledge of and/or skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
Skills
