About the role

We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in shaping how communities manage water for generations to come.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline Water/Wastewater/Water Resources or other water related projects
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines
  • Cookstaff and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule
  • Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews
  • Implement QA/QC procedures
  • Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans
  • Supervise project staff and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years water/wastewater project engineering which must include a minimum of 5 years experience in project management, including complex water/wastewater projects including condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects.
  • PE in New York or New Jersey
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
