Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

About the role

Ardurra is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Knoxville, TN. Our engineers collaborate with clients to design comprehensive water and wastewater systems, helping them make informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the design, management, and optimization of water and wastewater projects.
• Lead or assist in the technical design and hydraulic modeling for various projects including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and storage/conveyance systems.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Research and utilize available resources to support project needs.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with project teams.
• Prepare engineering reports, opinions, and recommendations.
• Maintain project files and ensure proper document control.
• Develop design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimates.
• Support project teams with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
