About the role
McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our growing Water Resources Department. This position is an opportunity to work on, manage and supervise complex stormwater management/roadway drainage design projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drainage and stormwater management designs and plans.
- Collaborate with our design team, environmental staff and regulatory agencies to support the delivery and permitting for various projects.
- Provide mentoring and oversight to junior staff.
- Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Active involvement with the development of technical and cost proposals.
- Assign tasks to, coordinates work, and mentors supporting staff.
- Provide QA/QC of work for technical accuracy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics engineering, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design.
- BS degree in civil engineering, or closely related.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
- DOT Stormwater design and permitting experience preferred.
- Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic calculation methods.
- Experience using Microstation or AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
