As a Professional Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of municipal and private-sector projects, supporting clients such as local governments, utilities, food and beverage manufacturers, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of the wastewater design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project
  • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Coordinate workload to complete the document on schedule
  • Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
  • Review process mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Write and edit process mechanical specifications, select equipment, treatment systems, and devices
  • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
  • Provide construction contract administration as needed
  • Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Wastewater Process Mechanical Project Engineers, Project Coordinators or CAD Technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • A minimum of 10 years experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (Professional Engineer or P.Eng. license)
  • Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation and hydraulic modeling software
  • Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field
  • 10+ years of experience with municipal or industrial wastewater treatment and treatment process design
  • Experience working on municipal wastewater projects
  • Experience working on food and beverage, manufacturing, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or other industrial wastewater projects
  • Experience working on large multidisciplinary wastewater projects

Pay

Minnesota: $123,701 - $176,715
