Senior Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Order Picking (30%): Review regular orders and Pick Lists, pick materials using forklift throughout the warehouse, and assemble in a staging lane. Verify accuracy and completeness of orders with a co-worker before shipping.
• Housekeeping (5%): Ensure aisles and rack locations are clean of debris and empty pallets.
• Forklift Inspections (5%): Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper maintenance and report any necessary repairs.
• Mentorship & Training (10%): Train new employees on picking orders, assist with locating items, and enforce safety and housekeeping protocols. Provide ongoing support and training.
• Order Loading/Unloading (30%): Assist with loading completed orders onto trucks, delivery carriers, and customer pickups. Unload orders from LTL carriers and truck loads. Perform receiving duties and correct any discrepancies.
• Stock Items (5%): Collect products from the staging area and move them to appropriate pick locations in the warehouse. Enter products into inventory using the RF Gen Gun and computer.
• Inventory Audit (5%): Assist in annual inventory audits, perform product counts, and investigate discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic inventory counts using math.
• Able to read and interpret order details and directions.
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Able to operate forklift and RFGen Gun safely.
• At least 4 years of warehouse experience.
