Senior W/WW Engineer/Project Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer/Project Manager for our Austin, TX office. The position involves project management, client relations, outreach, design, and construction oversight for local engineering projects. You will work as part of a design team or independently, handling business development, client meetings, presentations, budget and schedule management, technical report preparation, construction cost estimating, contract documents, proposals, and RFQ responses. Additionally, you will manage, coordinate, and mentor staff, including project-level and field employees, while driving business development in the region.
Responsibilities
- Project management for municipal/public works engineering projects
- Client relations and outreach, including meetings and presentations
- Design and construction oversight
- Business development and preparation of proposals/RFQ responses
- Management of project budgets, schedules, and profitability
- Preparation of technical reports, construction cost estimates, and contract documents
- Mentoring and coordination of project-level and field staff
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of Civil Engineering experience in municipal/public works projects
- Texas P.E. license required
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- AutoCAD experience a plus
