Senior Vulnerability Researcher & Cloud Exploitation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Analyze and dissect complex software systems, uncover critical vulnerabilities, and architect cloud-native delivery solutions for specialized operational content.
- Tear software apart to see how it works, hunt down zero-day flaws, and translate deep technical findings into impactful cyber capabilities.
Requirements
- Software Engineering: Demonstrated proficiency writing scalable, high-performance software in C, C++, Python, or Assembly.
- Reverse Engineering: Hands-on expertise disassembling and decompiling binaries using tools like Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or GDB.
- Vulnerability Research: Proven background identifying zero-day vulnerabilities, logic flaws, memory corruption bugs, and target exposure areas.
- Cloud Technologies: Practical experience designing, building, or deploying capabilities within cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional experience in software development, reverse engineering, or cyber operations.
- Master’s Degree in a related field, PLUS 5+ years of specialized technical experience.
- High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of relevant hands-on experience in vulnerability research and reverse engineering in lieu of a degree.
Skills
- Operational Support: Prior experience supporting live operational cyber missions and providing rapid-response technical content.
- Kernel & Low-Level Analysis: Deep understanding of OS internals (Windows, Linux, iOS, or Android), kernel-mode debugging, and hardware execution architectures.
- Modern DevSecOps: Experience incorporating CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and modern testing suites into operational code development.
Benefits
The annual base salary range for this role is $154,000-$182,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
