Senior Vulnerability Research Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Vulnerability Research Engineer to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

About the role

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research and reverse engineering on diverse hardware and software targets.
• Assign tasks to facilitate larger-scale cyber tool development projects.
• Test and integrate cyber tools effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's.
• 10+ years of programming skills in languages such as Python, C, C++, and x86.
• 5+ years in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.

Pay

$148,300 – $266,900 annually.
