About the role
This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premises OpenShift clusters
- Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Manage user access and permissions in the OpenShift environment
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications on OpenShift
- Create and maintain OpenShift configuration documentation
- Stay updated on OpenShift and Kubernetes best practices
- Collaborate with security teams on containerized application security
Qualifications
- 4+ years as a VMware/OpenShift Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- Knowledge of networking concepts in containerized environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
