Senior Visualization Professional

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Visualization Professional who Leads the design and delivery of enterprise-grade analytics solutions for our global clients. He or she will bridge legacy BI landscapes and modern AI-powered cloud-native platforms, driving the transition to AI-First capabilities while ensuring continuity, governance, and measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end BI and visual analytics solutions, embedding AI-driven capabilities to accelerate insight delivery and democratize data access.
• Lead migration assessments and strategic roadmap design from legacy BI platforms (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, IBM Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SSRS) to modern AI-enabled architectures (e.g., Fabric/Power Bi, GCP/Looker).
• Lead implementation of Conversational AI (e.g., Power BI Copilot, Google Gemini) to enable governed self-service analysis and data discovery.
• Design semantic layers (e.g., Fabric, Power BI, Looker) optimized and governed for AI consumption.
• Define and enforce BI governance frameworks covering data lineage, data security, lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, and other factors.
• Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to align data products to reporting, analytics, ML models, and AI agent requirements.
• Evaluate and integrate AI features (e.g., Fabric Notebooks, AutoML, and Data Activator) for proactive, event-driven analytics.
• Mentor and upskill junior BI developers and analysts, including on AI-augmented analytics workflows and Copilot-enabled reporting techniques.
• Present AI-enabled architecture recommendations and delivery roadmaps to client stakeholders, articulating measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in BI and data visualization
• Proven track record of successful project management and leadership
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies (ETL, ETL tools)
• Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Benefits

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $134,000 - $177,000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
