Senior Virtualization Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize a VMware vSphere environment for high availability and performance
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments as part of a hybrid infrastructure
• Administer virtualization storage and maintain backup solutions for data protection
• Support cloud migration and consolidate on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments
• Ensure disaster recovery and high availability of virtualization and Windows infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to improve capacity and efficiency
• Automate operational tasks through PowerShell scripting to streamline management activities
• Maintain compliance and secure operations in regulated environments

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years as a senior vSphere administrator, minimum version 6.7
• Expert-level experience with vSphere installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in provisioning, configuring, securing, and managing ESXi hosts
• Skilled in creating snapshot policies and automated backups, including Veeam
• 5+ years as a senior Windows Server administrator, Server 2019 or newer
• Strong PowerShell scripting proficiency
• Knowledge of Active Directory and core networking fundamentals

Pay

$102,000 – $154,000 annually
