Senior Virology Care Specialist, Central California
About the role
We’re looking for experienced and driven Senior Virology Care Specialists who are ready to utilize their industry experience bringing passion, persistence, and a strong desire to help patients. This remote, geography-based role involves developing strong, compliant relationships across a broad range of health care providers (HCPs) across multiple specialties and account types (IDNs, health systems, and community clinics).
Responsibilities
- Develop strong, compliant relationships with HCPs by understanding their needs and sharing accurate, balanced information about Invivyd’s products and solutions.
- Facilitate clinical dialogue that compels customers to act on behalf of their patients and engage the entire account to understand obstacles and provide appropriate solutions.
- Identify shared priorities and leverage knowledge within the full account to develop a territory business plan that drives product demand.
- Utilize your understanding of the broader healthcare landscape for account selling, including provider offices and health systems, and how decisions are made across these settings.
- Manage your territory with a business owner mindset, owning the outcome of your results with a sense of urgency while staying compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and educational discussions to support patient care decisions using all approved resources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, market access, and other teams to support customer needs and win together.
- Operate with an enterprise mindset to gather and share customer insights, feedback, and questions to help Invivyd continuously improve.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on overall account and territory strategy to maximize internal/external knowledge on product and service access.
- Aggregate customer, market data, and insights to effectively apply multiple channels to drive total selling engagements.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to prioritize customers/accounts to maximize impact aligned with the strategic plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; candidates without a degree but with significant relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Sales experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in sales in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or medical device customer-facing roles is required.
- Must hold a current, valid state driver's license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check.
- Candidates must live within the stated territory.
- Able to fulfill the requirement to be in the field five days a week, including overnights as required, conducting visits, while also completing all administrative tasks related to the role.
- Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory, as required.

Pay
The pay range represents the expected full-time base salary for this role at the time of posting: $120,000 - $160,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, and education. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for both an annual short-term incentive (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity).
