Accountabilities
- Oversight of video production, podcast editing, content development, and creative optimization across multiple channels.
- Strong editorial judgment, technical expertise, and creation of compelling stories aligned with a premium brand vision.
- Serve as the primary video editor for two established podcasts, transforming long-form conversations into engaging and polished content.
- Edit and optimize video content for YouTube, social media platforms, streaming channels, and digital broadcast environments.
- Identify compelling moments, stories, and clips that can drive audience engagement and maximize viewer retention.
- Produce premium-quality edits that reflect a sophisticated luxury and lifestyle aesthetic.
- Support the development and execution of editorial calendars and content strategies across multiple formats.
- Create and curate content including podcast highlights, interviews, member stories, live events, community initiatives, lifestyle content, entertainment features, and branded collaborations.
- Provide creative direction on storytelling structure, pacing, transitions, graphics, visual style, and overall production quality.
- Collaborate with videographers, social media teams, and internal stakeholders to establish content priorities and production workflows.
- Leverage AI-powered creative tools to improve editing efficiency, ideation, and content production processes.
- Research U.S. entertainment, digital media, creator trends, and online culture to identify relevant content opportunities.
- Analyze audience engagement and performance metrics to continuously improve creative strategies and recommend new content formats.
- Ensure all creative assets maintain consistency in visual identity, quality, and storytelling standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in video production, digital media, television, podcast production, or similar creative fields.
- Proven experience editing podcasts, interviews, and long-form conversational content.
- Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating professional video editing expertise.
- Advanced proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Experience using AI-powered creative and editing tools to improve workflows and production quality.
- Working knowledge of Claude Cowork or similar AI collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of U.S. culture, entertainment, digital trends, humor, and online audiences.
- Experience creating content for luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, or premium consumer brands.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop engaging narratives and identify content opportunities that resonate with audiences.
- Native or C2-level English communication skills.
- Valid U.S. visa required for occasional travel.
- Availability to travel to Texas approximately 1-2 times per year.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple creative projects.
