The Role

The Senior Vice President/Vice President, Corporate Development will own the strategy, negotiation, execution, and integration of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.

This executive will define and drive the company’s M&A roadmap, from thesis through integration, and will build a repeatable, AI-powered deal and integration engine that supports our long-term growth strategy.

This role is highly visible and cross-functional, working closely with the CEO, CFO, executive team, and senior leaders across Product, Technology, Finance, Go-to-Market, and People teams.

This role must be based at our Tysons, VA Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&A Strategy & Pipeline
    • Define and continuously update the M&A strategy and investment thesis aligned to corporate priorities.

    • Use AI-powered market and competitive intelligence to identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Oversee Deal Evaluation & Execution

    • Apply AI- and model-driven analysis to assess scenarios, synergies, and risks.
    • Cook up internal stakeholders and external advisors (banking, legal, tax, accounting, technical).
    • Drive Integration & Value Realization
      • Own the post-merger integration strategy and operating model for each transaction.
      • Stand up and run cross-functional integration governance (workstreams, timelines, decision forums).
      • Use AI, analytics, and standardized playbooks to track integration KPIs and drive synergy realization.

      • Partner with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, CS, HR, Legal, and IT to plan and execute integrations.

    Requirements

    • 20+ years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or related fields, with meaningful technology/SaaS exposure.
    • Proven track record leading multiple end-to-end M&A transactions in a highly acquisitive environment.
    • Experience with post-merger integration and value realization, not just deal close.
    • Hands-on familiarity with AI/analytics tools for market intelligence, modeling, and/or integration management.
    • Strong financial, strategic, and operational acumen; able to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.
    • Executive presence and influencing skills; comfortable engaging with C-level leaders and Boards.
