About the Role

This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. As Senior Vice President, Product Management, you will drive the development of key products and solutions with significant impact, serving as a thought leader within the product management team and across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with other product managers, Operations, Engineering, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy.
  • Influence product direction at a strategic level, focusing on products critical to the business or highly innovative.
  • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria; maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.
  • Own the operating model and communications related to your product(s) end-to-end.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of AI within your team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10+ years of product management experience, including creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience utilizing AI in product development is preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, including writing well-defined stories and acceptance criteria, and providing daily direction to an agile team.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of the Custody business and/or institutional banking preferred.

Pay

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is part of a total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
