Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an enterprise HR and talent strategy aligned with business goals, growth priorities, and operational needs.
  • Advise the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, culture, and leadership capability.
  • Lead talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development strategies across the organization.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive culture that strengthens employee engagement, accountability, and retention.
  • Oversee HR operations, employee relations, compliance, HR systems, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Drive workforce transformation, change management, reskilling, and upskilling initiatives that support current and future business needs.
  • Use people analytics and workforce insights to guide decisions, measure impact, and improve organizational performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 12-15 + years of progressive HR experience and talent management
  • Proven executive leadership experience in HR within a large, complex organization, ideally in consumer-packaged goods or a related industry
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link talent strategies to financial and operational performance
  • Demonstrated success leading workforce transformation and organizational change at scale
  • Deep expertise in talent management, culture development, and leadership succession
  • Experience managing large, distributed and/or non-unionized workforces is strongly preferred
  • Track record of leveraging data and analytics to influence executive decision-making
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, regulatory compliance, and HR risk management, including California employment law
  • Experience leading compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, HR operations, and HR technology functions at an enterprise level
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team on complex people, culture, and organizational matters
  • Experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing HR teams across multiple sites or business units
