Senior Vice President – Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including quarterly close packages, income and expense allocations, waterfall calculations, NAV calculations etc.
• Review partnership and fund IRRs and other performance metrics on a quarterly basis.
• Manage investor capital call and distribution processes.
• Oversee credit facility management, including lender reporting, covenant monitoring and borrowing base calculations.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Portfolio Management team on overall business development and management including due diligence, fund structuring and fee calculations.
• Cook up coordination across internal functions – including Compliance, Legal, Tax and Valuation – as well as external counter-parties including fund administrators and auditors to ensure timely and accurate fund operations.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance the scalability and efficiency of fund accounting and financial reporting workflows.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience across both Big 4 public accounting & multi-fund asset managers.
• CPA qualification is required.
• Broad experience across diverse alternative investment strategies and asset classes is required.
• PREFERRED: Experience within Private Credit, Direct Lending, Structured Credit and/or multi-strategy fund structures.
• Strong leadership skills / executive presence is ideal.
