Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions including quarterly close packages, income and expense allocations, waterfall calculations, NAV calculations etc.
- Review partnership and fund IRRs and other performance metrics on a quarterly basis.
- Manage investor capital call and distribution processes.
- Oversee credit facility management, including lender reporting, covenant monitoring and borrowing base calculations.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Portfolio Management team on overall business development and management including due diligence, fund structuring and fee calculations.
- Cook up coordination across internal functions – including Compliance, Legal, Tax and Valuation – as well as external counter-parties including fund administrators and auditors to ensure timely and accurate fund operations.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance the scalability and efficiency of fund accounting and financial reporting workflows.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across both Big 4 public accounting & multi-fund asset managers.
- CPA qualification is required.
- Broad experience across diverse alternative investment strategies and asset classes is required.
- PREFERRED: Experience within Private Credit, Direct Lending, Structured Credit and/or multi-strategy fund structures.
- Strong leadership skills / executive presence is ideal.
