About the role

As the Senior Vice President, Fleet – North America at SIXT, you will lead the end-to-end fleet lifecycle from procurement and planning to pricing, utilization, and remarketing, driving one of the company's most critical value chains. You will partner with executive leadership to maximize fleet profitability, strengthen OEM partnerships, and build scalable processes that support SIXT's continued growth across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Support the executive leadership team by developing and executing a comprehensive fleet strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and financial goals
  • Manage all aspects of the fleet lifecycle, including vehicle procurement, demand planning, utilization, pricing strategy, inventory optimization, remarketing, and overall fleet performance
  • Liaise with OEM partners, auction providers, transportation vendors, dealerships, digital marketplaces, and internal stakeholders to maximize asset recovery and strengthen strategic partnerships
  • Maintain operational excellence by implementing data-driven processes, monitoring key performance indicators, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous process improvements across fleet operations
  • Receive market intelligence, financial performance data, and operational insights to optimize fleet planning, manage residual risk, forecast performance, and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Assist in building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing Fleet organization while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer excellence

Requirements

  • You have 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in fleet management, vehicle procurement, remarketing, automotive finance, or a related industry, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Automotive Management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred, and you are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • You possess strong analytical capabilities and are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, business intelligence tools, forecasting models, and fleet management systems
  • You demonstrate exceptional executive communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, cross-functional leadership, and relationship-building skills while successfully leading large, geographically dispersed teams
  • You are a results-oriented leader with a proven ability to develop scalable processes, optimize financial performance, build high-performing cultures, and deliver continuous operational improvements
  • You are flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
