Senior Vice President, Credit Services
About the role
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Credit Services team. This role is located in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a Americas focused portfolio of hedge fund clients and other alternative investments (e.g. Private Equity, Credit Funds)
- Evaluate counterparty risk tied to derivatives, securities financing, and repo transactions
- Lead client due diligence meetings and maintain direct interaction with senior investment professionals and external counterparties
- Oversee ongoing portfolio monitoring including NAV and performance metrics
- Review and negotiate credit-related provisions tied to ISDA/CSA, MSLA, MRA, etc.
- Present portfolio updates, risk themes, and material exposures to seniors on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- College Education: Minimum of 3-5 years prior experience covering hedge funds at a financial institution
- Understanding of capital markets and traded products (e.g. FX, Rates, Securities Lending, repo, etc.)
- Experience with leading due diligence meetings & underwriting work with hedge funds
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to present complex risk topics succinctly to senior audiences.
