Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications to join our Global Communications team in New York. In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that sharpens BNY’s commercial narrative and industry perspective.
• Elevate senior executives through distinctive positioning and high-impact platforms, including earned media, speaking engagements, thought leadership, internal communications, and digital content.
• Serve as a trusted communications counselor to senior leaders, providing executive preparation, messaging development, and outcomes-driven impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record of success.
• Proven ability to develop communications strategies, messaging, and communications materials.
• Strong executive presence and experience counseling senior leaders and managing issues.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in managing organizational changes and transformational programs.
• Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in communications strategy development and execution.
• Experience in working with AI tools to strengthen communications quality, efficiency, and impact.
• Outstanding judgement, proactive problem-solving ability, and true accountability and ownership in scope of work.
