About the role

This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Media environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a diverse, high-performing global accounting team while fostering a culture of collaboration
  • Expand accounting capabilities to match company growth, addressing current gaps as well as future scaling needs
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial processes and controls throughout the organization
  • Transform and scale accounting processes, emphasizing automation and standardization for efficiency
  • Establish accounting policies and internal controls that comply with global standards and meet business needs
  • Oversee the accurate preparation of international financial statements in compliance with regulations
  • Provide strategic financial insight to the executive team and support new market initiatives and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Experience in managing global accounting functions for high-growth companies, preferably in entertainment, media, or tech
  • Expertise in implementing large-scale financial systems and process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of global compliance regulations (GAAP, IFRS) and multi-country operations management
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
  • CPA or equivalent certification is required; preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Multilingual skills are advantageous, with proficiency in English required

Pay

$301,260 – $376,575 annually
