Senior Veeam Backup Technician

Job Summary

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is seeking a Senior Veeam Backup Technician to support a program onsite in Pensacola, FL.

About the Role

CSA is a company with over 50 years of experience delivering technology and operational support services to the defense and federal sector. The Senior Veeam Backup Technician will manage enterprise backups to ensure disaster recovery, conduct analysis of enterprise systems, and manage backup testing and disaster recovery plan testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage backup systems, troubleshoot failed jobs, and run make-up jobs as necessary
• Maintain, update, and document enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Analyze enterprise systems to determine risks and implement disaster recovery best practices
• Schedule, manage, and conduct backup testing and disaster recovery plan testing
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies
• Configure and monitor Veeam on server/client
• Optimize backup schedules and improve automation
• Troubleshoot and resolve missed and failed Veeam backups
• Interface with vendors for escalated issues
• Update Veeam policies and procedures

Requirements

• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 3 years experience in configuring systems and hardware for compliance standards
• Security+ certification OR qualifying bachelor's degree to meet DoD 8140 DCWF WRC 451 requirements
• Experience with cybersecurity assessments, STIGs, and scripting
• Veeam Backup Solution experience
• Physical requirements: Sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers, communicate effectively, lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications
