Senior UX Engineer, Search Ads

Job Description

The Senior UX Engineer for Search Ads at Google will work within a multi-disciplinary UX team to develop innovative products and prototypes that enhance user experiences. This role focuses on creating high-fidelity, interactive experiences while collaborating with engineering and product management teams. The position aims to redefine Google Search and improve engagement through effective design and technology.

The engineer will utilize user insights to build tools and features that bridge design and engineering efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in application development in one or more platforms/areas such as web, iOS, Android, CompDes, or XR.
• 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications is preferred.
• 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build technical solutions to unblock and advance the efforts of UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, and software engineers in Search Ads.
• Develop high-fidelity, interactive experiences using the latest AI-enabled tools.
• Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers.
