Senior UX Engineer I

About the role

We are seeking an Infotainment UX Engineer to define and develop user-centered infotainment solutions, features, and designs that meet customer needs and ensure high quality.

Responsibilities

• Research and report on user experience for current and future products across automotive and consumer electronics.
• Analyze user data to understand customer preferences for displays, interfaces, entertainment, and controls.
• Identify critical requirements for infotainment system components based on customer demands.
• Propose modifications or new solutions, and create clear reports, presentations, and technical documents.
• Oversee feature and UI specification creation and verify implementation on test setups and vehicles.
• Mentor new team members in UX best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Factors, HCI, Industrial Design, UX, Engineering, Psychology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience conducting user-centered research, product benchmarking, and GUI prototyping (e.g., Figma, Axure).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce documentation.

Schedule

Onsite with potential for one telecommuting day per week with approval.
