About the role
We are seeking an Infotainment UX Engineer to define, develop, and improve infotainment solutions and features that meet customer needs and ensure product competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Researching and reporting on user experience for current and future automotive and consumer electronics products.
- Analyzing user research data to understand customer needs related to displays, interfaces, entertainment, and controls.
- Identifying critical system requirements and proposing modifications or new solutions.
- Creating and overseeing feature specifications and UI designs, verifying implementation accuracy on test setups and vehicles.
- Mentoring new associates in best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, HCI, UX Design, Engineering, Psychology, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the industry.
- Experience conducting user-centered research, product benchmarking, and GUI prototyping (e.g., Figma, Axure).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to produce presentation documents.
Work environment
Onsite with possible telecommuting days with approval. This role does not support visa sponsorship.
