Senior UX Designer, Amazon Delivery Customer Experience
About the role
Amazon Delivery’s Customer Experiences team (ADX CX) is seeking a Senior UX Designer to pioneer the future of our delivery choice experiences. In this role, you'll help re-imagine how millions of customers understand and select the best delivery option to suit their unique needs. Working directly with senior leaders and multi-disciplinary teams across partner organizations, you'll uncover insights that bridge the gap between customer needs and delivery capabilities, creating experiences that naturally guide people to their best choice. Your vision will simplify complex logistics into clear, meaningful options, crafting interfaces that turn these into moments of customer delight and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions to raise the bar on customer experience with delivery.
- Advocate and design for the customer using objective data such as market analysis, customer insights, technical constraints/opportunities, and business insights.
- Partner closely with business and development teams to balance immediate changes with long-term, scalable solutions.
- Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision-making and development.
- Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features by proactively planning, performing, and advocating validation techniques like usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytic data.
- Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders.

We operate within the broader Amazon Delivery Experience design organization, which includes teams focused on operational and transportation experiences critical to the success of the holistic delivery journey. Requirements
- 7+ years of design experience.
- Available online portfolio.
- Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
- Experience in lifecycle design projects from design strategy through execution.
- Experience designing customer-facing retail products.
- Experience designing and managing workflow with AI tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
- Experience presenting designs and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
- Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data.
- Experience presenting to and effectively advising senior leaders outside of design.
Pay
Base salary range: $137,800.00 - $186,400.00 USD annually (Bellevue, WA). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
