About the role
We are seeking a Senior UX Analyst to lead discovery efforts, influence design direction, and deliver insights that will shape the future of ARAG's products and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a desire to work collaboratively within a Scrum team.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought-leadership on the vision, strategy, and execution of ARAG’s user experience across multiple products
- Maintain a deep understanding of ARAG’s business function’s audiences, processes, systems and tools to provide relevant internal and external user experience recommendations
- Identify user experience pain points and opportunities using techniques including stakeholder interviews, surveys, workflow/process analysis, competitive analysis, internal analytics, usability testing, etc.
- Create documentation to illustrate information architecture, user task flows, technical dependencies, etc.
- Synthesize user experience research and deliver recommendations to Product Owner, Stakeholders and Scrum Teams
- Utilize design system to create user experience mockups
- Work with Product Owner and business to establish UX success metrics
- Offer guidance to UX team members on user experience research and design best practices
- Coach UX team members through the creation of innovative and impactful user experience solutions
- Aid in the development and management of team objectives, plans, priorities and budget
- Keep the pulse on digital trends and technology, proactively bringing opportunities to the organization for consideration
- Serve as a change agent to drive organizational transformation and innovation
- Serve as a cultural steward and positive role model by representing ARAG at its best
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies and technologies
- Proficiency in user-centered design and usability testing practices
- Experience with UX design tools (i.e. Figma, Miro)
- Understanding of agile development methodology and project management tools
- Knowledge of internal and external digital asset capabilities and data structures
- Familiarity with digital design principles, performance guidelines, accessibility standards and analytics
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations

- Ability to deliver a UX vision that encompasses both customer and business needs
- Ability to hold accountable dynamic team members with varying skill levels without direct management responsibilities
- Ability to dive deep, uncover insights, and clearly communicate the “why” behind decisions

Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university
- Seven or more years of experience in user experience analysis, design or strategy, business analysis, consumer research, marketing or related field
- Preferred: Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) certification
