Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and document communication with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
- Monitor progress of team members and advise team members of schedules and deadlines.
- Review schedules and budgets relative to project progress and completion.
- Conduct project status review checking accuracy of work completed and monitors timeliness of project completion.
- Attend meetings on project management and maintain project file.
- Affiliate with Project Managers with any administrative duties concerning completion of assigned project.
- Affords assistance in preparation of engineering studies and reports.
- Affords assistance in ensuring quality control procedures are performed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to members of the project team.
- Perform necessary code research.
- Responsible for the accuracy of each segment of the work and the final check of the work.
- Responsible for adherence to all applicable codes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Water Resources, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible water treatment experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a water treatment facility.
- Experience managing regulatory compliance, operations staff, and maintenance programs.
- Municipal water treatment experience preferred.
- Membrane filtration experience preferred, but not required.
- Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) Class IV Water Operator certifications in Water Treatment, Water Production, and Water Distribution required, or ability to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- OSHA and safety-related certifications preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, laboratory testing, and process control.
- Strong understanding of LDH drinking water regulations, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to interpret operational data and make sound process-control decisions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and asset management.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and serve in an on-call capacity when required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SCADA systems, CMMS software, and operational reporting tools.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
