About the role
Join Schwab's User Experience team as a Senior User Experience Designer. This role involves shaping digital experiences that power how clients interact with financial services, responding to evolving client expectations and business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Translate client and business needs into scalable product experiences
- Create future-state concepts and strategic design visions
- Design and influence experiences across multiple platforms
- Modernize experiences while maintaining quality, accessibility, trust, and consistency
- Explore applications of AI-enabled experiences and emerging interaction models
Requirements
- 6-10 years of UX design experience focused on digital products
- Experience designing touch-based mobile interfaces
- Experience across the user-centered design process
- Strong visual and interaction design skills
- Experience designing for web and native mobile platforms
- Ability to influence partners and stakeholders through clear communication and design rationale
- Proficiency with Figma or similar product design tools
Qualifications
- Experience working within established design systems and product patterns
- Understanding of platform frameworks and standards, such as iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
- Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows
- Experience owning work independently while keeping partners informed
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers
Skills
Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to simplify complex issues, and a deep understanding of user needs and business goals are essential. Strong visual and interaction design skills, along with proficiency in design tools like Figma, are also crucial.
