About the role
The Senior University Budget Financial Analyst in Budget Services supports the centralized fiscal and business management functions under the direction of the Assistant Director for Budget Services. Key responsibilities include controlling program operations, directing daily audit activities, providing fiscal and administrative oversight of the University budget requests, controlling and overseeing departmental records management, and serving as the central planning point of contact for College and Department Budget staff.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, budget preparation, and/or accounting
- Experience with financial systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to higher education finance
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
