Senior UI Engineer

Active security clearance at the TS/SCI polygraph level is required.

About the role

We have an immediate need for an Application Engineer (UI) specializing in modern front-end framework development. In this key role, you will help transition legacy, manual security evaluation processes into a streamlined, automated, continuous monitoring and assessment platform. You will lead the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of web-based single-page application (SPA) dashboards using Angular 14+, interfacing seamlessly with RESTful web services to visualize mission-critical security data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based single-page application (SPA) dashboards using Angular 14+.
• Interface with RESTful web services to visualize mission-critical security data.
• Create detailed UI mockups, wireframes, and front-end prototypes for new software capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 8+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience.
• OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 12+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.

Skills

Required

• Angular Framework: Demonstrated hands-on software development experience building web applications using Angular 14 or higher.
• Front-End SPA Architecture: Proven experience developing intuitive single-page application (SPA) dashboards and interactive data visualizers.
• UI/UX Design & Mockups: Capability to create detailed UI mockups, wireframes, and front-end prototypes for new software capabilities.
• REST API Integration: Direct experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful web services, handling dynamic data payloads, and formatting JSON responses.
• Web Fundamentals: Proficiency in core front-end technologies, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.

Desired

• State Management & Data Visualization: Experience utilizing front-end state management libraries (e.g., NgRx) and charting/visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
• Agile & DevOps Integration: Practical experience working within Agile development methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence, alongside modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Security & Authorization Frameworks: Understanding of continuous monitoring principles and role-based client-side access control mechanisms.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $172,000-$203,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
