Senior Tunnel Engineer / Regional Manager

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $200,000 annually

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, including proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules
• Lead design and construction supervision teams effectively
• Produce technical deliverables meeting client specifications
• Build and maintain a network of clients in the tunnel industry for project success
• Conduct geotechnical engineering work for transit and municipal projects
• Perform geotechnical calculations supporting design and construction efforts
• Prepare technical documents like Geotechnical Data Reports and Baseline Reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant area required; Master's preferred in Civil/Geotechnical/Structural Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in California required, PMP certification preferred
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years specifically in tunnel and trenchless projects
• Strong experience in business development and proposal writing with a successful track record
• Deep understanding of tunnel and trenchless construction methods and technical codes
