Compensation: $200,000 – $200,000 annually
About the role
This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects, including proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Lead design and construction supervision teams effectively
- Produce technical deliverables meeting client specifications
- Build and maintain a network of clients in the tunnel industry for project success
- Conduct geotechnical engineering work for transit and municipal projects
- Perform geotechnical calculations supporting design and construction efforts
- Prepare technical documents like Geotechnical Data Reports and Baseline Reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant area required; Master's preferred in Civil/Geotechnical/Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in California required, PMP certification preferred
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years specifically in tunnel and trenchless projects
- Strong experience in business development and proposal writing with a successful track record
- Deep understanding of tunnel and trenchless construction methods and technical codes
