Senior Trust Real Estate Asset Manager
About the role
The Senior Trust Real Estate Asset Manager is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of real estate assets held in fiduciary accounts, including commercial, residential, agricultural and others. The role is an integral member of Huntington’s Private Bank which at its cornerstone is a client advisor culture within a team-oriented environment. The role provides leadership and guidance on the prudency of maintaining real estate within a portfolio based on the account investment objectives, and preemptively identify potential issues, such as low account liquidity that might necessitate selling real estate or environmental hazards. Candidates must exhibit strong fiduciary judgment, strategic decision-making abilities, sophisticated negotiation skills, expertise in identifying and managing risk, and a client-centric approach to service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight for a diverse portfolio of trust-held real estate assets, ensuring alignment with fiduciary obligations, client and account investment objectives, and organizational goals.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert on trust real estate matters, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management, fiduciary committees, trust officers, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing activities, financing arrangements, development projects, and property restructurings.
