Sr. Treasury Liquidity Analyst
About the role
The Senior Treasury Liquidity Analyst supports the Liquidity Regulatory Reporting team in preparing and reporting Liquidity reports and metrics for the bank. This includes analyzing and executing the monthly production cycle and submission of the FR 2052a to the Federal Reserve, working with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) and AXIOM to ensure appropriate configurations and testing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and execute the monthly production cycle and submission of the FR 2052a to the Federal Reserve
- Perform monthly FR 2052a reporting, including variance analysis, reconciliations and commentary
- Review existing processes and seek opportunities to streamline workflows while ensuring the control and reconciliation environment is well documented
- Perform monthly review of Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), including variance analysis, and commentary
- Implement enhancements to 2052a reporting/6G instruction changes, including writing business requirements and performing user acceptance testing in coordination with Segment Risk, Finance Data Resource Group, IT, and other teams
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the liquidity framework to support ongoing transparency, accuracy, and sustainability
- Work on FR 2052a remediation work stream efforts, including assessments of interpretations against FR 2052a instructions and observed understanding against industry practices
- Cook up qualitative information and data requirements to support 2052a modeling, assumptions and calibration
- Address any queries from Risk Management, Internal Audit, Transaction testing and Regulators related to Liquidity Risk reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and five years of liquidity regulatory reporting experience in a banking or financial services environment including regulatory reporting, treasury, and balance sheet activities
- Experience must include use of Axiom/Adenza or similar financial reporting platform, Federal Reserve 2052(a) reporting, and PowerBI for data management and visualization, data management, and the ability to execute complex SQL queries
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and two years of the same experience mentioned above is required
