Senior Transportation Safety Planner (Full-Time)

About the role

The Senior Transportation Safety Planner is responsible for ensuring the safety of transportation systems and infrastructure. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and implementing safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for transportation systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement safety plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address safety concerns.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and report findings to management.
• Stay updated with the latest safety standards and best practices in transportation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Safety Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation safety planning.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GIS software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
